Între ziduri, printre arbori ce se scutură de floare,
Cum revarsă luna plină liniştita ei splendoare!
Şi din noaptea amintirii mii de doruri ea ne scoate;
Amorţită li-i durerea, le simţim ca-n vis pe toate,
Căci în propria-ne lume ea deschide poarta-ntrării
Şi ridică mii de umbre după stinsul lumânării…
